We created and supported all aspects of the name change announcement for the venue to remove the perceived association with slave trader, Edward Colston, in 2020. The announcement was watched in over 15 countries and broadcast by over 40 media outlets. It made positive headlines around the world and #BristolBeacon was trending at #3 on Twitter on the announcement day.

We continued supporting the music charity throughout the venue’s closure and multi-million pound transformation, with regular sounding board advice throughout the challenging period, and a programme of strategic and tactical media relations and stakeholder engagement, to manage the difficult messages and build positive momentum towards the reopening in November 2023.
The opening of the world-class venue was covered by multiple media outlets including The Times, The Independent, R4 Front Row, the Ed Vaizey Show on Times Radio, BBC Music Mag, BBC Points West and ITV West.
