Strategic PR support during the closure of the science and discovery centre
Following the devastating fire on We The Curious’ roof in 2022 causing the extended closure of its visitor centre, we have been supporting the in-house team to manage the difficult messaging about further delays to reopening.
We have used the closure as an opportunity to remind audiences about the ongoing activities and important role of the educational science charity, through a mix of strategic media relations and stakeholder engagement.
A carefully managed behind-the-scenes media tour resulted in over 145 pieces of media coverage, including BBC, ITV, the Independent and Evening Standard.
